Abstract

The integration of blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) presents a novel approach to ensuring data security, transparency, and decentralization in intelligent systems. This paper explores how blockchain can enhance AI applications by providing secure data provenance, verifiable AI decision-making, and decentralized model training. We introduce a hybrid framework where smart contracts and federated learning work together to improve AI trustworthiness. Experimental results demonstrate improved data integrity and resistance to adversarial attacks. Challenges such as blockchain scalability, computational overhead, and regulatory compliance are discussed.
