Abstract

Quantum cryptography is emerging as a revolutionary technology to ensure data security in an era of increasing cyber threats. This paper explores the principles of quantum key distribution (QKD), quantum-resistant algorithms, and their impact on cryptographic protocols. We analyze real-world implementations, including advancements in post-quantum cryptography, and discuss their potential to replace traditional encryption techniques. The study also addresses challenges such as scalability, cost, and technological limitations. Our research concludes that quantum cryptography represents a paradigm shift in securing global communications.
