Abstract

The evolution from 5G to 6G is expected to bring a transformative shift in wireless communications, integrating AI-driven networks, terahertz (THz) spectrum, and quantum computing. This paper discusses key technological advancements in 6G, including ultra-low latency, enhanced energy efficiency, and massive machine-type communications (mMTC). We analyze potential applications such as holographic telepresence, intelligent transportation, and space communication networks. Despite its promising benefits, challenges such as infrastructure development, security risks, and global standardization remain. Our research highlights the roadmap for 6G development and its impact on future digital economies.
