Abstract

As cyber threats continue to rise, blockchain technology offers a decentralized and secure framework for data protection. This paper examines the role of blockchain in enhancing cybersecurity, focusing on applications such as secure authentication, data integrity, and decentralized identity management. We discuss how blockchain mitigates risks related to data breaches, fraud, and unauthorized access. Challenges such as scalability, regulatory concerns, and energy consumption are also explored. Our findings suggest that blockchain-based cybersecurity solutions can significantly enhance digital trust and security in various industries.
