Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is at the core of smart city development, enabling efficient resource management, intelligent transportation, and enhanced public safety. This paper examines the integration of AI with IoT, big data, and automation in urban planning. We discuss case studies of smart city initiatives worldwide and analyze the challenges of infrastructure investment, data privacy, and cybersecurity. The findings suggest that AI-driven smart cities can significantly improve sustainability, reduce environmental impact, and enhance the quality of urban life.
