Quantum-Resistant Cryptography for Securing Cloud-Based Data Transmission
Abstract
The rise of quantum computing poses a significant threat to traditional cryptographic algorithms used in cloud security. This paper explores the application of quantum-resistant cryptographic techniques, such as lattice-based and hash-based cryptography, for securing data transmission in cloud environments. The proposed framework integrates post-quantum algorithms into cloud encryption protocols to future-proof data protection. Performance analysis indicates that the quantum-resistant cryptographic methods provide strong security guarantees while maintaining acceptable processing efficiency. The study highlights the urgency of adopting quantum-resistant encryption to safeguard cloud infrastructure against emerging quantum threats.
